The City will be requesting proposals from multiple qualified firms to provide design services for the improvement of 257th Way. Once a consultant has been selected based on highest qualification and highest value for the cost, the consultant will provide the City with the plan set of engineered drawings as well as an estimate of cost and construction duration, and contract documents. The City will be able to use these estimates, plans, and contract documents to budget for, procure a qualified contractor, and implement the improvements which will provide a safe and accessible route to the planned improvements at the Urban Renewal Agency site along the river.
